Zac Thompson is a multidisciplinary writer and author of over 50 comics including Cable, Marvellous X-Men, Into The Unbeing, Cemetery Kids Don’t Die, EC Comics’ Cruel Universe, and Alien: Romulus for 20th Century Studios. Zac’s debut original comic series, The Dregs, was called “lowbrow brilliant” by New York Magazine. His 2018 follow up, Come Into Me, was named one of the best 100 horror comics of all time by Paste Magazine. In 2023, Thompson’s original screenplay The Replacer was selected for production financing from Telefilm Canada.

His other comic book credits include Batman: The Brave and the Bold for DC Comics, Hunt for the Skinwalker, Blow Away and Angel + Spike at BOOM! Studios, and No One’s Rose for Vault Comics. Thompson has also written stories for VICE, Huff Post, Seraphilm Films, Razorblades Magazine, Bloody Disgusting, and numerous other publications.

When Zac’s not out in nature foraging for mushrooms you can find him programming films for his local non-profit indie cinema. He lives in the woods on a tiny island in Canada.
